Core Idea

Most trend tools are noisy: they either confirm late or flip on every wiggle. CoralTack replaces the raw price with a six-stage cascade-smoothed baseline (the Coral Trend). Because the line barely reacts to random noise, a genuine change in its slope is a meaningful signal — a “change of tack” — rather than a hiccup. A short-term momentum line (ROC) must agree with the new direction before a plan is taken.

A new H1 bar closes — evaluate once.
Coral line flips slope (down→up long / up→down short).
Speed line ROC agrees with the new direction.
Market active: ATR(14) ≥ 0.6 × 50-bar average.
Daily count < 10 and no open position.
Open the plan: SL 1.6×ATR, TP 1.8×stop, risk 1%.
